For
those of you living in the Denver Metro Area, we will be holding
a series of weekly meetings to prepare our DNC events and activities.
Here’s our meeting line-up.
Upcoming PDA@DNC Denver

St. at E. 28th Ave) 6-8 PM
Tuesday 8/5 Blair Caldwell Library
(2401 Welton Street) 6-8 PM
Sunday 8/10 Panera’s (1350 Grant

Tuesday 8/19 Ford Warren Library (2825 High St.
at E. 28th Ave) 6-8 PM
Our main agenda will be preparing our
PDA events for the DNC including the “Healthcare Not Warfare”
(HNW) campaign. The HNW petitions will be delivered (during
the DNC) to Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Howard Dean, and our
individual Congress members. Please sign the petition here
and be counted! Colorado Democrats included a single payer
plank on their 2008
party platform.
We will also be organizing our congressional
district delegation work. If you cannot make it to the meetings
but you would still like to volunteer during the DNC or be
part of a CD delegation visit to your representative, please
send us an email at DNCvolunteers@pdamerica.org. Be well everyone
and let’s cultivate the kind of community and world we want
to live in.
