Progressive Democrats of America operates through local chapters that engage in these activities:
- Conversations with our representatives
- Support for progressive candidates - financial, volunteers and advice
- Recruiting progressives who will run as candidates
- Education events - speakers, forums and dvds
- Tracking and alerts for pending legislation
- Promoting legislative accountability
- Drawing attention to critical issues
- promoting and attending rallies

Why You Should Join PDA
You're like us! You want to see progressive legislation passed by Congress, but you know the Democrats in DC won't do it without a push from people like us.
New progressive interest groups, PACs and blogs are arriving all the time, but we're still playing catch up with the neocons. We need more groups committed to progressive action. The groups we have must be better funded with more supporters and volunteers.
Progressive Democrats of America is more progressive than most groups, taking our lead from the Progressive Caucus in Congress.
Progressive Democrats of America is innovative! PDA frequently does things first, leading the way by identifying and supporting progressive candidates, particularly in the primaries.
